I have created a short (5 sec. at the moment) MPEG-2 movie, a flyby around the ray-traced (POV)
LDraw model. The resolution is 640x480, the frame rate is 25 fps. You
will (most probably) need a hardware decoder card to enjoy this
clip. It works great with my Hollywood Plus on my TV screen.
Here is an MPEG-1 version to play back (with software only) on computer screens. | ||

How did I create this MPEG-2 clip?
Step 1: LDraw model created by MLcad. Step 2: LDraw model converted to a POV-ray file by L3P. Step 3: POV-ray created a sequence of .bmp files. Step 4: BMP2AVI created an AVI clip. Step 5: AVI2MPEG converted the AVI clip to MPEG-2 format. | ||
